Crediton Food Festival 2020

Welcome to our new online booking system – this year we will be offering a selection of pitch sizes and locations.

Please find below all the information you need in terms of pricing, general information, booking process and the first step – the initial enquiry form.  We will let you know as soon as we can if your application has been successful or if we require further information.  Please try and answer all the questions as it helps us to understand your requirements.

Pricing

Please note:

  • Power is available on any pitch at an additional £10 per session
  • Discounts are available – book 2 sessions and save 10%, book 3 sessions and save 20%!  Discount is applied to the session costs only
  • When choosing a 2m pitch, due to the size of the gazebos being used, there may be a gazebo leg in front of your area
  • A ‘Hot food’ supplement is payable by traders (main Square only) who are selling hot food for consumption on site
  • ‘Street Food’ traders are defined as self contained catering units (such as trailers) which will be located on Market St

General information

  • Gazebos will be provided to those booking a pitch on Market Square, however, stallholders are required to provide their own tables and equipment
  • Credition Food Festival does not provide hand wash facilities, refrigeration or gas – you will need to provide your own and ensure that everything is in good working order, with any relevant inspection/certification documents up to date and to hand at the event
  • Electricity is available to stallholders who have pre-booked
  • Alcohol sales – Market Square will be covered by a Temporary Event Notice and if stallholders in this area wish to sell alcohol, they MUST have a valid Personal Licence.  Market Street is NOT licenced for alcohol sales

Booking process

This year, there is a three-stage procedure for all stallholder bookings as follows:

Stage 1 – Enquiry

Closing date for all stallholder applications is 30th November 2019

All you need to do is to submit your details on the bottom of this page and you will then be considered for inclusion into the Crediton Food Festival 2020.  Please note that your booking is not confirmed at this stage.

Stage 2 – Assessment

The committee will consider applications, and notify successful stallholders by the end of January 2020

During this stage, we will assess the stallholder enquiries we have had and plan the event layout. You will then be notified whether or not we can offer you a space.

We try to keep the number of each type of product offered to a small number of producers to ensure that everyone has a chance to sell.  If you are not accepted because of this reason, we will add you to our cancellation/waiting list.

The organisers’ decision is final with regard to stall acceptance and location allocated.

Stage 3 – Confirmation and Payment

Invoices will be sent out to successful stallholders and payment should be made within 15 days of receipt

Once you have been accepted, we send you instructions how to pay for your stall (preferably by bank transfer).  Your booking is NOT complete until you have sent us all required documentation and paid for your stall.

Setup instructions will be emailed prior to the event.
